Modern Slavery Statement

Modern slavery is a crime and a violation of fundamental human rights. It takes various forms, such as slavery, servitude, forced and compulsory labour and human trafficking, all of which have in common the deprivation of a person’s liberty by another in order to exploit them for personal or commercial gain.

This statement sets out the key steps that the Company has taken, and continues to take, in order to understand and minimise the potential risk of modern slavery within its business and supply chains.

OUR COMMITMENT

We have a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery, and we are committed to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business dealings and relationships and to implement and enforce effective systems and controls to ensure modern slavery is not taking place anywhere in our business.

As an equal opportunities’ employer, we are committed to creating and ensuring a non-discriminatory and respectful working environment for all our employees. We want all our employees to feel confident that they can expose wrongdoing without any risk to themselves.

As part of our initiative to identify and mitigate risk we have in place a comprehensive range of HR policies and procedures including an Equal Opportunities policy, Disciplinary policy, and Grievance policy to protect and ensure that our employees’ rights and responsibilities are upheld. We regularly review and update our policies to ensure that they are reflective of what the Company does in practice and in line with any changes in legislation.

OUR SUPPLY CHAIN

Our supply chains include services provided by our wholly-owned subsidiary and other external service providers. We have reviewed the risks that these supply chains can present and whilst we consider our exposure to modern slavery to be limited, we expect our suppliers and contractors to demonstrate a zero-tolerance approach to exploitation.

We do not enter into business with any organisation, in the UK or abroad, which knowingly support or is found to be involved in slavery, servitude and forced or compulsory labour.

OUR PEOPLE

The prevention, detection and reporting of modern slavery in any part of our business or supply chain is the responsibility of all those working for us or under our control. We ask all our employees to avoid any activity that might lead to, or suggest, a breach of this statement. All employees are required to notify the Company as soon as possible if they believe or suspect that a conflict has occurred or may occur in the future.
We aim to encourage openness and will support anyone who raises genuine concerns in good faith, even if they turn out to be mistaken. We are committed to ensuring no one suffers any detrimental treatment as a result of reporting in good faith their suspicion that modern slavery of whatever form is or may be taking place in any part of our own business or in any part of our supply chain.
